Plaza first made her debut on saxophone in Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. In 2012, she made her saxophone debut in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings. HarmonQuest In 2016, HarmonQuest featured Plaza with the character of Hawaiian Coffee. In the same year, she played Aaron Burr In Drunk History as well as Cat Adams in Season 11 of the C.B.S. TV series Criminal Minds. She made a triumphant comeback for the character in Season 12. In the year following, it was revealed later that Plaza is set to appear on an independent comedy called An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn.
