Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has left a mark in the film industry. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. De La Garza moved soon to Texas to study the field of physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas then moved in Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities such as local independent films and global commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from finding out that she loved acting. Her move was from the Midwest to New York. Her first role was on the soap opera All My Children. Her roles were sporadic on JAG The Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. Her first big series role was on the short-lived 2004 drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of top TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. Her most memorable role came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. Later, she starred in the Law & Order: LA brief-lived sequel. De La Garza has been recognized several times for her character, among them Best Supporting Actress in Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. In 2008, De La Garza received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza, in the role of a regular cast member on CSI Miami was announced a moment or two later. She portrayed Marisol Deko as Horatio Caine's wife. Her most current TV work was in NBC's dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The younger brother Cory has a ten year old brother who is older than her. Her family was a relatively conservative and religious family. Milano's professional career started at seven after her child's sitter took her to an audition. The four selected girls from over 1,000 potential candidates were chosen by Milano. Milano was featured on television in commercials as well as off Broadway productions, including an adaptation musical from Jane Eyre.
